  1. I SAY YO DON`T GO TO BENIDORM IF YOU WANT TO LIVE!!!, i think is the worst place to spend a holidays in Spain, if you want beach, fly to baleares or cheaper, Salou en Tarragona, but if you want fiesta!, Ibiza, Malaga, Cádiz beaches o Salou too.

Also, every granpas of Spain go to spend their holidays to Benidorm, so you can find mummies walking slowly along the beach.

    Luck and enjoy!

  2. Yes and in my opinion it is vile! The weather along all the Costa Blanca is excellent from April to September. Benidorm is very over-developed and looks like similar to a concrete jungle. It's Blackpool-on-sea reputation is justified. Not my kind of place but great if you like a bustling touristy resort catered to the English. If you want an authentic Spanish village this is not the place to go!

  3. I live in Benidorm on the outskirts of town. Never had a problem here and been here 15 years!

Once upon a time long ago....when we first came there were alot of lager louts (BRITS) but not any more. We've cleaned up our act and welcome all clean lawabiding people who will find all kinds of great things to do. So all you people who comment about Benidorm if you've never been here, or only been here years ago try it! We've changed and so have alot of things elsewhere. Weather is great in May pleasantly hot for you holiday makers.

  4. i went a couple of years ago and it was nicer than i expected. the beach was nice and there was a excellent water park where i had alot of fun, very much a family holiday

  5. Watch the programme 'Benidorm' on Thursday, it is so accurate in summing up some of the types of people that go there. The old town (Poinente)is better than the new part ( Levante) Levante is full of british bars, british cafe's, cheap chino c**p shops and tacky souvenirs, if thats what you like, then come here, otherwise, if you want somewhere here but a shade more refined, look for Calpe, Javea, Denia or Altea, all within an hour or so from benidorm, but not as tacky

  6. YES. best is the beach, pubs and entertainment non stop.

    worst did not find any.

weather today was 75f go to yahoo weather and add it to your sidebar.may will be hot, Just right for terra mitcha theme park.

  7. Hi,we went a few years ago and it was full of old people wearing tracksuits and trainers and they were doing exercises on the beach every morning and tea dancing at the hotel in the afternoon, the weather was nice though.

  8. Benidorm is one of the symbols of the Spanish tourist growth, the small village of fishermen and farmers, which had 2.000 inhabitants at the beginning of the century, has grown into one capable of lodging 5.000.000 visitors a year. Theme parks, tennis, squash, golf, athletics, go-karts, paragliding, swimming, sailing, motor boats, rowing, fishing and deep sea diving are just some of the activities that Benidorm and its surroundings offer. See http://www.spain4uk.co.uk/places/benidor... for more details

  9. yes it is full of beer swilling brits

  10. Yuk no.If ever i thought about going there i would cut my own throat.

  11. We went and it's a complete s**thole!! It was really dirty (not in the good way!) ,full of moronic drunken Brit Yobs/Tarts,over built, over crowded, loud and very very tacky...don't think it has any good points really- Except that it's near to Fuentes D'elgar a gorgeous scenic waterfall.

If you like Brit resorts then Benidorm is as close to being like Blackpool with nice weather as you can get!

  12. went last april and weather was fine,i love the place,we normally stay in flamingo oasis,all-inclusive hotel, its dear to stay there but we book last minute deals off  latedeals.co.uk normally pay £300 per person for 1 week, but thats food/drink.i cant think off a bad thing about the place, plenty off nightlclubs if you want it,some places you can reserve your table for a show in the evening, waiter service and pay at the end of night.i always come home with loads of shoes and bags as they are so cheap, and fab colours,if you like shops you'll love it there, you best get taxi or bus to top end of town and walk back towards your hotel, lovely walks in day or evening and all lit up in evening,i hope you have a fab time as i love it there.

  13. no its a s--t hole and i wouldnt go there if you payed me

  14. went last year with kids -have never wanted to go benidorm but it was a good deal so we went for it-it was great-nice beaches fantastic array of shops-clean and plenty to do- we went in october and it was very warm so it will be fine in may i should think. we will defo go again

  15. Benidorm is sooo crowded!  May weather should be nice.

  16. Not recently...but late May is a great time on that coast.  Warm without being roasted.  Best sun tan I ever had was got the last week in May and the first week in June!

I understand that Benidorm has got rid of the lager louts, so I bet it is nice there now.  The 'Old Town' always was a good place to visit!!!

  17. nope.
