Anyone been to Brisas Santa Lucia - CUBA? tell me your reviews?

as Tropicale posted sometimes the reviews can make one wonder if it's the same resort they were at.  Check the reviews on trip advisor  they may help.

I haven't been to that specific hotel...I've been to Gran Club Santa Lucia many years ago prior to renovating...and that one is still a 3.5*. It was alright but I wouldn't consider that place again.

Brisas is a 4* and that will give you a good idea that good quality should be expected. Never book less than a 4* resort.

That said, Santa Lucia beach is nice and you will be able to mix right in with the local Cubans and go into the nearby town.

Take advantage of the private beach day trips where you can go and enjoy a quiet beach and swim in clear, turquoise waters with soft white sand. And take in the other day trips into the city and if you can take a trip to Havana, at least do that.

You will always have mixed reviews because everyone's personality and expectations are different. Go with an open mind and allow yourself to meld in with the culture and you will make wonderful friends with the Cubans.
