Anyone been to Coleman barracks, Mannheim Germany??....?

My Husband is being stationed at Coleman Barracks near Mannheim. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what it's like there I've never lived outside of the US HELP!! Please

If your husband is being assigned to Coleman Barracks, it will only be to work. You will actually live in Mannheim which is 15 minutes away. There you will have everything from schools, PX, commissary, movie theater, etc. Mannheim is a decent area since you are centrally located. One hour from Frankfurt, Kaiserslautern, Ramsteim AFB, 15 minutes from Heidelberg and the Rhein river area is exceptional. Living on base is like little America and the locals thrive from our business so the majority speak perfect english. You'll develop a friend network and learn how to get around within a month. Very easy place to live. Hope this helps.
