Anyone been to Cozumel for shopping?

I'm taking a cruise on July 10th to Cozumel, Mexico. I hear they have good prices on silver, bags, etc. Has anyone been there that can give me an idea of what the prices are on some their merchandise?

they have an entire area devoted to cruisers; many suggestions on what to do on Coz for a day, also suggestions on the best places to shop.  Hint: NOT where the ships advise you to; you need to go further off the beaten path.  Don't be afraid to barter/dicker over price, it's part of the fun and games!

They have some good deals on jewelry.  Not fantastic, but it is a little cheaper than here.  I didn't see any good deals on handbags - I don't really remember even seeing handbags for sale.  There are a ton of jewelry stores though.  Have fun!
