Anyone been to Grand Turk? Where to stay?

My hubby and I are thinking about going to Grand Turk? Where would you recommend staying? We are looking into Osprey Beach Resort. We want a full kitchen...

Are there grocery stores near by? Is alchohol expensive to buy in the stores? Please offer suggestions. Thanks,

Just an FYI... Grand Turk is very primitive when it comes to tourist attractions/accommodations.  Don't think it will be a pristine island gleaming in the sun.  It's dirty, garbage is often strewn everywhere, and it looks more like a third-world country.  Saying all that, the diving and snorkeling is fabulous and if that's why you are going, go for it!  Just don't have high expectations.

Good choice. 5 minute walk to town, close to bars, restaurants, dive shops.  Recommend you stay on the beach side, the views are terrific.
