Anyone been to Peebles in Scotland? =D?

I live in Peebles and its a fairly large town. Just wondering if anyone actually knows where it is?! It has stobo castle near it, cardrona and the hydro hotel. it also celebrates beltane every year. ring any bells anyone?

I know where it is and I love it there.  We got married at Traquair House and our Photographer, Hairdresser and Florist etc all came from Peebles.  As we live in North West England it was a good excuse to make a few visits!

Yes and it was very nice,thank you.I worked on the Drama,Sea of Souls,and we filmed in Peebles way out in the forest and at a hotel kind of place on a long stretch of country road.I stayed in an old hotel with a huge driveway with a fountain just outside the door and there were two dogs running about the reception which belonged to the owner.It was a fantastic old building and i had to ask twice "do you really have a room here for me" as i thought the bbc had booked me into some grotthole of a place some where else.Yes,peebles was nice.thanks.
