Anyone been to Puerto Del Carmen?

Just wondering from anyone who has been what the nightlife/shops/beaches/weather etc is like. thanks

You mean in Lanzarote???

If you do its quite nice, quite english but not as in Benidrom...

Nice long beach, long street, which they call cardiac hill fror obvious reasons!!! It had lots nice bars, restaurants and shops.

It will be hot... thats the main thing...sure you will enjoy it.

If you there for a week get the ferry over to FUERTVENTURA for the day if you havent been. Thats another Canary Island.

It's excellent - not so much for shopping - a lot of touristy tat, but if you want perfume, booze and cigs then they are a lot cheaper there.

Nightlife is great, a lot of places open to the early hours of the morning and you can get some decent pub food there, along with some mediocre italian, chinese etc.

The weather is great, i was there in March and went swimming at the beach and came back with a tan after the weekend there.
