  1. trie kwait my firends father went there on a bussniss trip and he said it was great real fun

  2. My mom just fell in love with Morocco.

    I haven't been there.

  3. Dubai is so exotic, a sophisticated wonderland with people of many countries working together & having fun in all of the fun places, & there many!

I’ve been to Lebanon too. It’s a beautiful country with very very beautiful & friendly people. If it wasn’t for its hostile neighbors who decided to fight their wars on the Lebanese territory, the country would’ve been a heaven on earth.

Arabic countries in general are beautiful & unique. & they are far from how they're stereotyped.

  4. I went to Marrakech this year and found it very interesting. The people were friendly, although they usually wanted money from you for directions. I just pretended not to be lost and got there in the end! The markets are fantastic if you enjoy the haggling experience - not so enjoyable if you don't like that because you will invariably pay over the odds for things. It was very hot in April and quite dusty. There were a lot of scooters which were very annoying when trying to walk through the souks. I didn't find a great deal to see that I thought was worthwhile. My favourite part of the trip was our Riad and the meal we had there. Generally, I didn't find the food in the square to be up to much. As with most Arab countries, I think, it was difficult to find bars serving aalcoholbut there are a few if you know where to look. I wouldn't go back but am very glad that I went.

  5. Awesome experience in every country I visited. Dubai and other UAE countries are really good. Qatar also has interesting places to go to.

I went to Morocco twice and I loved everything in it. Very rich in culture and has a lot of beautiful places to go to.

  6. i went to Egypt, it was so beautiful and pleasant, i also i went to yemen which i found very beautiful, i had camel's milk there too.

  7. I lived in north Africa for four years and in the Yemen for 6 years.

There are pros and cons, advantages and extreme cons to both.

Generally Yemen and Libya were my favorite places because the people of both nations accept others for who they are, but at the same time are very noble and proud of what they have in their own cultures and ways of living. Yemen and Libya don't seem to have been spoiled by western ideas as yet. The people are generally very Islamic  in a dignified way and want you to enjoy your time there. They want and expect foreigners to integrate and take part in their societies. Sudan is the same. Some other Middle Eastern countries want foreigners out of the way in ghettos. I think Tunisia, Morroco and Egypt must also  be good countries to live and work. Dubai is a beautiful citadel in many ways, but you can't help feeling you live in a huge supermarket......at times. Dubai should look at its own past and consider a 'date fruit' festival' in lieu of a shopping festival. It should also promote beach tourism and desert safaris more.

  8. Hi,

I lived & worked ex-pat in the Sultanate of Oman for 12 years.

    A brilliant place to live.

Boats, fancy cars, over the top wages, God or Allah knows what !

"It has got out nice today" was a stock comment.

I thouroughly recommend a working stay in such places.

Dubai used to be fun, with all the souks on the Deira side of the "Creek", but has been spoiled with sky-scrapers.

Saudi, especially Riyad, is nonesence, so is Kuwait.

Freindly enough, and all is well, but a lack of humour & beers.

  9. The UAE quite a few times, Very Decadent and Luxurious.

Stayed in the Burj Al Arab also!

  10. I've only been to dubai, i lived there for 2 years.

It's a very nice place to visit, but i didn't like living there.

  11. I've been to Jordan and Egypt. Jordan was fantastic - Petra is a must see. I spent a few days going back there and just exploring. Seeing it by candlelight at night was awesome too. There are also lots of ancient ruins so if rocks and ruins are your thing I'd definitely recommend a visit!
