Anyone been to brean sands leisure park,somerset?

Question

we are going camping there 4 a week in august.never been there & its our 1st time camping as well.the brochure looks good but as anyone got remarks about it as in entertainment for kids,teenagers & adults.is there plenty to do there to keep us all occupied for a week?

I bet you're from Birmingham ;-) Why do I say that? Most of B'ham seems to descend on Brean for the summer.

You won't be able to fill a whole week of activity at the leisure park, but the beach is fantastic. Make sure you go to Brean Down (and climb up it). Explore a bit. There are cider farms on the back lanes, and all sorts. There is a big Tesco at Burnham which you need as there are only 2 small shops to buy groceries etc in Brean.

There are more pubs, clubs, arcades, and seaside "tat" shops than you can shake a stick at, if you like that kind of thing...

The park itself is, well, a bit naff. Even the site admits its only good for a day out...
