I hiked the Picos de Europa (beautiful) , Stayed at Fuente De, Kayaked in the Rio Deva, visited Santiilla del Mar  (very beautiful old village but full of tourists), hiked and stayed near Santona. A great scenic place for hiking and other outdoors stuff, some really nice beaches -- but not too "exciting" as far a big city types of things are concerned I suppose. Liked my visit very much.

im from spain and i´ve visited cantabria a lot of times. it´s a very beautiful place. has mountains and green valleys, beaches, medieval villeges and beautiful towns... is a wonderful place.

Nope! The only place outside of t he country, I have been, was to Japan in 1951! I don't remember very much, though! My Dad was stationed at Johnson Air Force Base in Nagasaki! THAT  was an experience I remember, even though I was five at the time! It was awful!
