Anyone been to kos. Whats it like??

Im going to kos with my girlfriend in september. Its our first time abroad. was just woundering if any of you had been and how good it was!

kos is like any other main stream greek holiday resort. modern place with a few antiques thrown in. it's ok !

holiday is what you make it though !

horrendous! if you like unique locations with charm and peace and quiet!

if not, you might like it! plenty of hot sun in season and seafront is like blackpool with clubs and bars all lined in a row and most looked the same.

we headed out to more isolated beaches and hired a little car, so managed to make the most of it.
