  1. Hi,

at least 2-3 times every month I'm at Nas2 for work.

Anyway, there is much to see in Sicily!

    Here some helpful links:

    Take care.

    Frank.

  2. Take a trip up to Mount Etna. I'm sure there are tours arranged right there on base. You can ski on the Etna (Europe's tallest active volcano at 3,300 meters) during the winter and hike to your hearts desire all summer long. The higher elevations are alpine like AND the cuisine is unique up there.

Catania - great night life around the theatre. There are pubs, music clubs and it's pretty safe down there now.

Taormina is over rated but you should go all the same and maybe even catch a show in the out door theatre. The views from up there are breath taking.

Syracuse (Siracusa) - the our door theater is out of this world, the archelogical museum is very good (though you can't buy a post card in side) and the food is (like in all of Sicily) very good - go to the old city.

When in Sicily eat the blood oranges, eat lots of fish, drink both the red AND white wines. Learn some Italian and always be polite and you'll always be treated with respect.
