Anyone been to the sunotel armal hotel in madrid what is near it to do?

It is near to the Real Madrid Football Stadium, but not much else.  It is in the commercial district, so you will find it very quiet at night.  You would need to catch the metro everywhere as opposed to walking.  I would not stay in this hotel and choose somewhere closer to the centre.  Look for hotels around Puerta Del Sol, Gran Via or in the Callao area to better enjoy your time in Madrid.

Head to Plaza de Castilla, to get the photos of the tilting towers, and the Canal Isabel II Exhibition Centre in the square usually has good exhibitions on (now it's Sculptures of the American Dream)

Not far away is La Plaza de la Remonta (off Calle Bravo Murillo) - a traffic free square like a more modern version of Madrids Plaza Mayor, but with cheaper tapas. Also here you can find the best ice cream parlour in Madrid (and possibly the world)

Heading south down the Castellana (Madrid's Main Boulevard) The Museo de Ciencias Naturales and the Museo de Geologia, aren´t too far away either
