Anyone been tought by connections academy?

im looking into it. should i go for it? my friends think no, that ill hate not going out of the house. but im thinking of doing it for next year (10th grade). have you ever been in connections academy? if so, whats it like? anything. whats the class like? fieldtrips, explain?

NO! DOn't DO IT. If you listen to those idiots that advise you to learn from that program. Once u join it you might do too much loads of school work in a very short time. Also u can't even have a good GODDAMN choice of if u want to do missing work or not. also u probably have to get in your textbooks late and u sometimes hhave to use them online instead! I Think it's only for people that like to do 2 much schoolwork AND NOT PEOPLE THAT CAN'T RELAX FOR A SECOND!

LMFAO these people are insane. I go to CA, and its awesome. I'm in 10th grade, I've been doing Connections Academy for 5 years. It takes me 2 hours to do my school work everyday, (Thank God for Yahoo Answers) and I just go hang out with my friends the rest of the day! Life doesn't get any easier.

I definatly would not recommend it for a full year. the only reason i'm in connections is  becuase i was doing really crappy in schoo, and i was about to be expelled if i got written up again. so my mom didnt want to tak any chances, so im online school for the rest of the semester. Im going straight back to public school for 10th grade, it may be easy, but your social life really does suck. the only reason im  not totally pissed is becuase i only have 3 more months of this then summer break and back to public school.

my son is in connections! He had over a 3 GPA when he went last Sept. 28th, and in just a few months has successfully gotten a bunch of D's and F's. He transferred from public school six weeks after classes had begun. They assured us that all was good, even at the end of December we were told all was well. He was busting his butt to get lessons made up he missed. When we saw his grades and started calling Connections the lies started. I'm telling you to stay in public school. This is a piece of c**p school and I'm sure colleges will look down on this education.

I dont know what everyone is talking about. It is a nice school. Im in eighth grade, the teachers are helpful, the work is not that hard, and it gets easy once you get use to it. I like it.

 Don't do it this school sucks. I am a parent. The teachers are less then helpful. You might as well just be taking classes on your own with no help at all.

Honestly it's not that bad. Yeah you get a lot of work, but if you know how to work it, you get LOADS of times, you can use the internet for answers and seriously on the midterms/final/tests...everything is open book. As far as the work it's easy. The alone part..eh yeah it can get to you but just go outside when you want. The only time you HAVE to be at the computer is for live-lessons. Honestly being at home is nice, beat off, eat when you want, sleep when you want, do some work.

Dont do it man ive been in this f*****g school for 5 years im in the 10th grade now with no friends no social skills what so ever the teachers b***h alot u dont have the guidance of a real teacher ur stuck infront of a comp with porfolio bullshit around every corner. Three words: DON'T DO IT! This school sucks. It might seem like a great idea if you don't like public school, but it was like that for me and now that I'm in it I want to go back to regular school. There is SO much work involved and so little time to do the work. I am isolated from basically everyone and all I do is sit in front of a computer. I can't wait to go back to regular school next year. I don't like this school at all.

Im going to connections acadmey for oregon and im in 11th grade, im new. And so far, i am always inside doing lessons!! its kinda complicated at first but it explains how to do each lessons good, it just takes an hour and 15 mins to do one lesson and you have to do 5 a day. but since i just started the more you do your daily lessons the easier & quicker they become. also you can google questions you have if u need help, or contact any teacher they help you..

 I go to connections now, Colorado, and i like it. It's easy and i can google almost all my answers. easy graduating. Lmfao, but if you REALLY like learning, its really good. I love it. And they still have dances and things. (:

DONT DO IT! Im in 9th grade connections in South Carolina. The only reason I did it is because I got kicked out of school, so it was either this or alternative school. Dont do it please I was only going to go for 10th grade too but my parents got used to me being home all the time now I cant go outside and you get realllyyy reallly lonley its an ok school except for the fact that you only do school work 24/7!!!! dont do it stay in regular school
