  1. I work in a legitimate work at home job. I just started, but I am part of a great team that has people to support me across the country. I really like the earning potential and the flexible work schedule it gives me (since I'm a student there's certain parts of the year I just can't work). Most importantly, I was a member of the service even before I was an associate, so that helped me to really believe in what I was doing . . . because it had really helped me.

Anyway, many of the "work at home" jobs are commission based, and some do require a start up fee (but no start-up fee should be ridiculous. I paid a training fee and fee for my license in my state).  And just like any commissioned job, that can get frustrating because you have to sell to earn income. However, my director said "the only thing you can do wrong is to quit" and that's what I believe too. Eventually you will find people who also see the value in what you're doing. But you're going to have to hear some No's first. So just be aware of that.

Anyway, if you would like to join my team, drop me an e-mail and I'll tell you more about my company.  You may or may not be interested, but I'd be happy to share the information with you. Either way I hope the advice from my experience helps you.

  2. I have done probably over 50 work at home jobs. sounds crazy but true. I did that to see if I can find a legitimate company and to see which one is the best. I'm pretty sure people push their opportunity to see if they can make a buck off of the next person but honestly I am apart of a great home based business. I make a 6 figure income a year. If you are interested send me an e-mail

  3. Depending on your background, you could consider medical transcription, coding or billing. I was a medical transcriptionist working from home.

Many transcriptionists get their training through a course of study while others carry their medical terminology knowledge with them from other health related fields. You would need to get the terminology down, and then get started. Many companies want experience so there's a catch-22. However, doctors and hospitals may be hiring, and after a time you can work from home as many transcriptionists do.

There's some excellent information for anyone considering a career in this field in the website listed below. No affiliation with any school or products, just good info, including real job listings in coding, billing, and transcription.

They also have free listings in their directory for transcriptionists.

  4. Hi,

There are a lot of legitimate work at home jobs out there -- but they can be tricky to find because there's also TONS of scams!

Do you know what field you're interested in? (Data Entry, Computers, Writing, etc.) That might help us point you in the right direction a little better.

But if you're interested, I have a bunch of work at home job lists on my website for various fields (writing, computer, customer service, data entry, graphic design, etc.) It's just a little site I put together - nothing fancy...but I did check out all the jobs before putting them on there with the Better Business Bureau, so they are definitely 100% legit and not scams!

Anyways, if you're interested, it's at:

Hope that helps! Good luck! :-)

  6. There are quite a few legetimate work at home jobs.  But do you really only want to make minimum wage earnings?  That's what you get paid with work at home jobs.  If this is sufficient amount of income for you then I do know of a couple places in which you can apply for.

If this isn't a sufficient amount of income, then you need to stop looking for a job, and look into home based businesses opportunities.

    Good Luck!
