Anyone caught a freshwater bass lately?

Yeah, cought a nice large mouth last night. Night before got two not keeper largeys. Going to have that bass for dinner tonight. it was 14 1/2 inchs, 1 1/2 pounds. I was trying to get catfish with cut up minnows on a sinker on the bottom.

I haven't been able to go anywhere because it won't stop thundering around here. It's just constant friggin rain and lightening for the past 2 weeks. I planned a trip for this weekend and now we got a tropical depression coming at us...I'm starting to lose my mind around here! Well, I hope you do well on your trip. ~good luck catchin'.

No, but i had three rainbow trout. one of 5lb one of just under 2lb and one 3.5lb(estimated) took the 5lb trout for the smoker and the rest went back. Took the first on a "drowned" dry fly and the rest on a gold ribbed hares ear nymph.

i caught around 3 small mouths in a creek and if rock bass count i caught 5 of them my friend caught large mouth in his pond too
