  1. No Federer loosing does not shock me.

He hasn't been the same since loosing to Rafa at Wimbledon it seemed to break his spirit and he has struggled ever since. This reminds me of when Bjorn Borg lost to McEnroe in 1981 Wimbledon. Borg was never the same again and he retired not long after when he still could have competed at the top for many years maybe the same will happen to Federar has modelled his carer and temperament on Borg. Although I still think he wants  Pete Sampres's  Grand-Slam record of 14.

  2. I definitely didn't see that coming lol :)

I thought that Federer would have won easily even though he's not been playing his best, given that Blake has never beaten Federer lol :)

Anything is possible with Fed these days lmao :-))

  3. I'm shocked but not total surprised.  Fed's confidence is gone. The only way he'll ever be competitive again is to play aggressive from the very beginning of each match.  He always starts off playing at 50% and only turning it up when necessary.  Roger can no longer do this.  I see trouble ahead at the US Open.  Watch someone like Fabrice Santoro beat him in straight sets in the 1st round.  ANYTHING can happen now.

  4. I"m not surprised.  Federer hasn't been playing that well lately.

  5. Not at all.

  6. Hi s**y rafa! I know that you are having a nice day today. LOL Just kidding. LOL Okay No! I am not surprise that Roger lose. I know you thought it was going to be a pushover match for Roger, but I just did not think that it would be an easy win for Roger. Blake is a top quality player and can have wins against anyone when he is in top form. Roger unfortunately has not been in the best of shape mentally and this is costing him matches that he normally wins.

  7. Blake was playing pretty much at the top of his game. His forehand was just pushing Federer around the court and way behind the baseline, and even his backhand, which is usually erratic, was solid. I think what did it for Blake was his return game. He was crushing some of Federer's second serves and his three breaks of serve were well-deserved. If you want to you can watch the match when they put it under the tennis section on the NBC video player.

  8. i thought blake had a chance but i never thought it was gonna be in straight sets that's a little shocking, i didn't see the match but i read federer did 56 unforced errors (wow) and only 14 winners so i guess it wasn't his best match, james also did a lot of ue but not that many, good for james, he didn't get scared  i hope he'll get to the final =)
