a typical meal is meat and potatoes or a good lamb stew. meat and potatoes is a classic irish meal, in fact its basically the only thing you can get there as a meal. theyre breakfasts are really heavy, fried eggs, slabs of canadian bacon, DELICIOUS brown bread, black and white pudding (sheep guts), tea, toast...amazing

In all of Ireland you will get Irish Stew made from mutton and in Northern Ireland they will serve breakfast called an Ulster Fry consisting of fried eggs,soda bread, potato bread, mushrooms, bacon, sausages,also you can add baked beans, black pudding, white pudding.

They have all types of food in Ireland!!! Not just Potatoes as every one thinks!!! There are no real main dishes.

Well we have gravy rings too and Paris buns. And fadge and soda bread. And vegetable roll. And colcannon and brilliant brilliant cheeses.

Bacon and cabbage is a very traditional Irish meal, as is Shepard's pie. The Irish fry is a typical Irish breakfast lunch AND dinner!! Also the Irish stew. All Irish food is lovely!

The full Irish fry up for the morning after, yummy can't beat it! when i'm away i miss potatoes too and proper Irish tea! Typical dinner meat, potatoe, two veg.
