i heard from espn that commisioner office is investigatig manny that his agent called bosoton that if they dont drop his option manny wont play hard for the rest of the season. what do u think about this?

i personally think they r wasting their time... manny was batting over .300 befor the trade. it seems now he's hot they dont like their superstars bigger then the game..which manny is right now hitting 4 hr in 6 games. to me the commish srewed up the steroids thing last yr. now he has to s***w up another stars life. although he cant do anything about it, becasue manny isnt the only superstar not to play hard. he isnt the only star not to play hard before leaving a team then blow up on another team...if he has to wast time and money on this then he has to investigate every player that didnt play hard befor leaving a team. i think we need a new baseball commish because he's turning into a big joke.

THE BASE FOR THE SELIG ALLEGATIONS IS ALL THE SIGNS ARE NOT LOOKING GOOD FOR MANNY. BEFORE EACH SEASON MANNY HAS WANTED TO BE TRADED EVEN BACK TO HIS TIME AS AN INDIAN. BEFORE THIS SEASON STARTED MANNY SIGNED WITH AGENT SCOTT BORAS WHO IS KNOWN TO CARE MORE ABOUT MONEY THAN HIS OWN FAMILY. MANNY HAD ONE YEAR LEFT ON HIS CONTRACT WITH THE RED SOX HOLDING TWO OPTION YEARS. IF THE RED SOX WOULD HAVE PICKED UP THE TWO OPTION YEARS BORAS WOULD HAVE NEVER SEEN ONE DIME. WHY DID MANNY SIGN WITH BORAS BEFORE THE SEASON? YOUR GUESS IS AS GOOD AS MINE. DURING THE SEASON WANNY PUSHED DOWN A RED SOX EMPLOYEE THAT HADLED THE TEAMS TICKETS TO EACH GAME BECAUSE HE COULD NOT GET MANNY 16 TICKETS. A MONTH LATER MANNY STOPS PLAYING BECAUSE HE CLAIMS HE HAS A PROBLEM WITH HIS KNEE BUT WHEN THE TEAM DOCTORS LOOK AT IT THERE IS NO PROBLEMS. SO NOW MANNY IS ON THE DODGERS AND IS PLAYING LIKE HIS LIFE DEPENDED ON IT OR EVEN BETTER HIS NEXT CONTRACT DEPENDED ON IT. AS FOR SAYING YOU SHOULD LOOK AT ALL PLAYERS THAT ARE TRADED AND DO BETTER I DON'T AGREE WITH THAT BECAUSE MANNY IS A SPECIAL CASE. IF MANNY PLAYED FOR THE PIRATES HE WOULD STILL BE GOOD BUT I THINK WITH ALL OF THE EXTRA BAGGAGE THAT MANNY CARIES YOU HAVE TO STOP AND QUESTION SOMETHING THAT HE DOES.

It seems true with the Manny handled himself 2 weeks before the deadline. However, this is nearly impossible to prove that anything like that happened, so nothing will come of it besides speculation.

I think it's true. Look at Manny with the Red Sox he hit 4 hrs in his last 15  games and now he's hit 4 out of 6 with the dodgers. Now Manny is also hussling down the line and with the Red Sox he is not. Manny's a jerk period and he's probably going to the same thing next year if he gets signed with the Dodgers.
