Anyone drive a motorcycle to work that must wear a Suit to work?

Im thinking about getting one as I am jealous during rush hour getting passed while Im stopped.

I have to wear a suit to work though so I dont know if this is practicable. If your able to pull this off, please share what your typical routine is or tips.

I think the most important thing is to wear water proof safety gear. That will keep your suit dry as you are travelling.

It would be best to have a back pack and put your jacket and tie in it.

I have seen people in suits driving bikes without problem so it is possible if you wear the right gear.

I don't, but my mate has to to teach at a school.

He wears his suit trousers with textile motorcycle trousers over the top (not leather, too much faff), and wears his leather jacket over his shirt. When he gets to work he puts on his suit jacket and tie. He wears motorcycle boots and puts his proper shoes on when he gets there too.

The textile trousers work a treat, they keep his trousers clean and are extra protection just incase he has an accident.

I wear those disposable painter coveralls when I ride the bike to the office. I look like the Michelin man before the diet plan but it works and it doesn't wrinkle the suit either. My business partner wears blue mechanics coveralls and we call him Papa Smurf.

I changed jobs, so I could ride my motorcycle and not have to worry about the whole tie and dress shirt dilemma

get a few jump suits  

and a back pack

jump suits over the clothes

change into your shoes at work

pack the bag  with  extras   soap  handy wipes  etc

Keep the rubber   side down

just throw a biker jacket over your suit and freshen up when you get there
