Anyone drive a mustang v6 during northeast winter months? If so how bad is it going to be?

  1. I don't have a mustangs.

    But I grew up on RWD and NYC (Northeast).  They are NOT BAD at all unless the mustang had a positraction type rear ends (differentials).

    Then even a slight rain can make the car spin out (speaking from persona l experience).

  2. Install lots of cat litter bags in the trunk. Winter tires would help.

    If you hitting up Ny carry some snow chains just in case.

    I've had 4 mustangs and good winter tires make a difference.

  3. Drive conservatively, and you'll be okay.

    I had a '70 AMX (rear wheel drive, 360 cu in V8) that I drove year round in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois winters.  It was much more powerful than a V6 Mustang; and back then the tires where nowhere near as good as they are now.
