Anyone else 38 weeks pregnant?

if so, how are you feeling?

and have your doctor visits changed @ all?

I'm only 36 weeks but my doctor is starting to do the strep test and also check for dilation

I am 38 weeks and 6 days.

I am miserable now back and stomach kills me

they say i keep lettin my self get dehydrated

but im not sure.

still havent dilated n e or thinned

hopin to get her out soon

I'm 38 weeks, starting 39 Monday.

Doctor's appointments are the same as before - luckily I've got a good doctor who listens to me and makes sure to give me 100% attention. He even tells me when he's out of town for a day in case I go into labour, and tells me the doctor that will be covering for him. I see him weekly now and he'll measure my stomach, take my blood pressure, and ask me how things are going. I had my group B strep test two weeks ago. He doesn't believe in constantly checking me internally, so they're not bad visits haha (I figure I don't need to know how dilated I am, either I'm in labour and at the hospital or I'm not!)

I had a false alarm on Monday where I was checked out at the hospital, and everyone was really nice there and helped set my mind at ease. I feel good about where I'll be having the kid and the people who work there.

I've been getting far more crampy and starting to lose my plug, but otherwise I'm feeling good. Time is flying by, I still can't believe that the kid could come any day, and I've made sure that my bag is packed etc in preparation.

That sucks about feeling rushed. Maybe come up with a few questions and make him sit and answer them, saying that you're concerned that not enough time is being spent with you and you'd like to feel more at ease by having him give you full attention. Perhaps ask if there is a better time of day for you to be there that will allow them to focus more on you. Hopefully he will apologize for making you feel that way and be more sensitive to you.
