Anyone else TICKED about delay on Harry Potter release date?

I just re-read the book so that it would be fresh on my mind when the movie came out in Nov. Now it is scheduled for next summer. I cannot wait that long. Especially since I have waited this long already. The movie is done and it is ready. Release it already!

  1. Ahhh I know! I've just been rereading them and now have a whole six months to wait >.<

EDIT: In America there's been a lot of media about what would have gotten more views, Twilight or Harry Potter. Would have been interesting to see which did, but I think they might have changed it for less competition. Probably not but ah well..

  2. I was just talking to my mum about this! When I read about it, my first thought was "What the ****?!" It's ready, and I've been waiting for a long time! I re-read the book too, just so I wouldn't feel clueless when I watched the movie, and now it turns out instead of HP6, they're playing Twilight?! Don't get me wrong, I like Twilight, but C'MON! Harry Potter is a legend! >=(

  3. i definitely agree. ive been waiting for this since i read the book when it came out july 2005! after reading the book i was like "this is gunna be an awesome movie!" i understand that warner bros think they will make more money...but hear me out: true hardcore h.p. fans (like me) would leave to see the movie on christmas day! im hoping that if enough people complain they will change it back...but theres a slim chance :( this makes me so sad

  4. I was very disappointed when I heard it doesn't come out till next July. I have been anxious to see it especially with the trailer that came out!

But did you know that the seventh book is being made into 2 separate movies!!!

  5. I know! I was so mad. They only did it because there was a week in July that movies make the best sales when they're released in that week. So, they needed a big Blockbuster film to fill the empty slot in the week. Frankly, I don't understand that, because it's going to have extremely high sales anyways.

  6. It's all about money. Warner bros realizes that summer blockbusters make more money than Christmas ones. I feel that the whole spirit of the books have been destroyed, especially with the terrible Order of the Phoenix!
