Anyone else disappointed to see Ronaldo staying?

dont get my wrong, hes an amazing player, but hes admitted to wanting to leave the club. Why should we pay him to stay when he wants to leave.

He would rather be at madrid this season and even though he might give his all this year to help us win, it wont be the same as it was last year.

no club should be forcing aplayer to do something he doesnt want to do and thats exactly what man.utd did to ronaldo.

yes, i must agree it is a great shame that a player with such a great potential is being wasted. I must argue that he is completely overated player- and taht he doesn't want to leave because he knows that his talent isn't good enough for the spanish league and he isn't ready to pit himself up and rub elbows with the big guns. he just hasn't got enough talent...

i really didnt care if he came to madrid but am happy to hear that madrid wont be spending so much money on him. From the interview it does sound like he was sincere and its good to hear that he takes all responsibilty for the drama that was created over him. i agree with you about the whole paying him to stay even though he wanted to leave in the first place. I say take advantage of his goals and the triumphs he takes part of and next summer send him packing.
