  1. Me !!! :) The way he acted was just ridiculous and very unsportsman like, i feel sorry Rafa has to play him, he is just sheer ignorant. It`ll be a different story when Nadal puts him in his place :) woo Vamos Rafa !!! x*x

  2. Nadal will quiet the crowds and humble Murray into oblivion. And then he will show them a REAL bicep!

  3. I'll just say I wanted Gasquet to win

  4. I am.

Although I'm also disgusted with the way the crowd acted during the match against Gasquet too.

Murray behaved like a football hooligan. He needs to be told that tennis isn't the sort of sport where you can do things like that. I thought he was very off-putting for Gasquet and was just too loud and arrogant. It's okay to say "come on!" to let out a bit of emotion about winning a point, but Murray took it too far. He was pretty much screaming right in Gasquet's face.

I don't think Murray should have won that match yesterday. Had it been anywhere else but in England, he wouldn't have won because Gasquet would have been able to stay in it mentally because there wouldn't have been a riotous crowd causing trouble in the stands and putting Gasquet off. I'm ashamed that the Brits booed Gasquet when he went for a toilet break, and I think he had every right to complain to the umpire about how they were behaving. Had Gasquet not had a disgusting crowd to put him off, then he could have stayed with it mentally and closed out the match at 5-4 in the third.

However, Murray was as bad as the crowd. The way he was throwing his arms up in the air, encouraging them to cheer him on really bugged me. He was rude and showed no respect for his opponent whatsoever. And at the end of the match, when he pulled up his sleeve and flexed his arm; to put it bluntly: what a douche. I couldn't believe that. It was so arrogant and just appalling and really not endearing at all. It made him look like the conceited little arrogant, cocky boy that he is.

Some of the ATP Officials need to have a word with him about his oncourt behaviour. He was disgusting and, had I been the umpire, I would have given him a warning and then definitely a penalty of some sort.

I'm disgusted and I can't wait until he loses tomorrow. That'll shut him up for a while.

  5. This question is almost as absurd as some of the answers people gave. No, I was not disgusted. Many other players do much the same look at Nadal, Djokovic, Roddick, and Hewitt. All four of them do a lot of the same things that Murray did last night. Stop complaining just because he turned the match around and won. Or maybe you are not complaining but merely worried that Nadal might actually get beat by someone other than Federer and Djokovic. Besides, the crowd would have been the same if it was Roddick in the US Open, if it was Hewitt in the Aussie Open, or if it was Gasquet in the French.

  6. Yah Andy Murray is a freak! It made me so mad at the end of the match when he won and he started flexing- what a show-off!  I cant wait until Nadal puts him in his place tommarow!

  7. Not only Murray, but also many other players have a problem with professional and good sportsmanship.  The ATP made a big mistake by not severely punishing Nastase, McEnroe and others in the past whose antics made tennis what it is today.

  8. i think that is abit harsh. I think gasquet's attitude and mentality sucked especially from an experienced top 10 player. All Murray did was play unbelievable shots and like naturally when someone does that you put ur fist up in the air, take leyton hewiit or nadal himself. The crowd just fed off of murray's shots. If the tiebreaker the crowd were flat but as murray is their home favourite it is only natural the home player will get some noise. Gasquet's attitude sucked because he knew very well that this can happen and fo him to choke like is credit to murray putting pressure on him.  Well nadal will probably do alot of the fist pumping  when he makes one his unbelievable shots. So i don't think u have have an argument here. If gasquet had just kept his nerve their wld be no issue.

  9. I didnt like how the britians were booing him when gasquet needed to go use the bathroom.....i think it brought his spirit down and made murray stronger! poor gasquet....:(

  10. I agree.

  11. I'm disgusted with this question!!

Are you not allowed to punch the air when you have won the point??? Are you not allowed to shout "C'MON" after you have won a point! Are you not allowed to get the crowd onto your side?? This was an incredibly important match for Muray (and for British tennis) I thought the crowd was BRILLIANT! and i thought Murray was AMAZING!

To all the users above me! GET OVER IT! Murray won fair and square! the way Gasquet acted in the 5th set was appauling! constantly complaining about everything! Are you telling me that the French crowd wouldnt have done the same thing if Gasquet and Murray were playing!!

    Go Murray!

  12. No he had to get the crowd behind him, he was two sets down after all.  He was trying to win the match and every player has some way of trying to unsettle his opponent, Andy's is just more vocal than others.  He played amazingly to come back from two sets down and that match was the best one of Wimbledon so far!  Go Andy!!

  13. I was very upset with how they responded to Gasquet. He played a great game of tennis and definitely deserved better than that. If it hadn't have been for the crowd, Murray would have already been sent home with his tail tucked between his legs. He had better bring a box of tissue with him tomorrow because he's going to be doing some serious bawling when Nadal sends him packing.
