Anyone else doing childcare nvqs and any feedback?

Question

im looking for other people on childcare courses (not to share answers just experiences as im interested!) particularly NVQ 3 Childrens Care learnig and development.

how long have you been in childcare before doing this course and how are you finding the course itself - also, good tips for observations (i have the right practice and do things fine according to my supervisor but i go to pot in front of my assessor!

any experiences welcomed!

Hi, I completed my NVQ 2 in early years. I started my NVQ 3 but never completed, I saw how challenging the job would be and pays very little. although it is a supervisory level until you are qualified and hold very good work experience it didn't hold any value.

The learning environment is good the children were lovely,but there were bad staff politics,

Instead I completed a short university course( three months called new beginnings ) and now I am a muter student,studying for my degree in Education. Teacher has more higher standard and good pay and lots of school holidays!!
