*sighs* I am at work trying to get work done. I have gotten SO behind since I got pregnant and I cant focus today because my stomach itches and I feel like im being stretched apart. And I feel like I ate too much for lunch.

I just want to go home and go to sleep. :[

I am only 23 weeks but I had morning sickness bad in the beginning and then fatigue bad and now I have this itching, stretching and fatigue! My business has suffered severely and some days I dont know how to dig myself out of this hole of being so behind.. I feel like im a walking book of excuses but I really have felt like just sleeping all the time since I got pregnant! All I wanna do is lay around.. it isnt until 1AM or 2AM that I find myself wide awake. I have even been taking walks at those times because its the only time I seem to have enough energy too and I need to keep walking.

Yes, im mostly complaining but nobody around here will listen to me anymore, lol, and you guys can sympathize, hopefully?

  1. I feel the same way I only work part time but my husband has a four year old that we have a lot and I am just so freaking tired all the time!  Is there any way you could hire an assistant for yourself?  I can't really but I wish I could!   I am 24 weeks.  I'm told that you only get more tired as you go along...so much for a pep talk!  By the way I love your picture!  That's pretty much what I look like right now too.

  2. severe itching hun can be a sign of problems in pregnancy, if its really bad i would see a doctor hun just to be on the safe side!!

how you feel is totally normal.. in my first pregnancy i did nothing but sleep constantly for the first few months and this time too.. its normal you need your sleep as your body is working overtime to support baby, listen to your body and if you work for yourself work when you have time when you are wide awake!!

i know what you mean about eating too much for lunch and feeling full and uncofortable.. i do esp this time!!

i would speak to your midwife about the itching, though some itching is normal because your skin is stretching ( hence stretch marks! ) i know i have itched my b***s and my belly red raw!!!

    xx

  3. I am 22 weeks and for the first 3 months I was practicly living in my bed, b/c I was so naseaous. I quit working around when I was like 6 weeks pregnant, I was way too tired and could hardly keep my eyes open. I am pretty lazy right now I will sit around in my pj's all day and clean here and there, yesterday with my naps it took me 2 hours to clean my kitchen (but that was everything windows, dishes, floor, I cleaned everything. I was exhausted last night. I however cant keep my eyes open past 10:30. I understand where your coming from but just relax and dont worry when your body says your tired listen, b/c when baby comes you wont get as much time to rest. I know what you mean about people around you not listening, my husband says uh huh ok and rolls his eyes...your not alone :)

  4. its  just part of pregnancy.  I am 26 weeks and it doesn't get any better.  It gets worse when you get over 30 weeks. All you can do is ask for help at work, tell them you need help. Talk to your doctor, see if they have any suggestions for you.  Take a nap at your lunch break, keep a alarm clock with you, so you dont' oversleep.  Get rest when you can.  Use lotion on your belly, it helps calm the itching some.
