...and cloying and condescending as well! No, he is not my pick, but I would feel the same with any pol. You are NOT my friend, in any context, you are a public servant. I think it makes McCain sound like a used car salesman,or a disingenuous undertaker.

I don't believe it's an age thing, I've heard younger pols say it as well, YUCK!

  1. Yes I do. I am no friend of his and I dont ever want him to refer to me as his friend

  2. He's listening to too much Limbaugh.

  3. Disingenuous.  Yeah, that's the word I've been looking for.  Like his tv commercial during Barack's speech.  VERY tacky.

  4. No more than Obama accepting the nomination "with great humility".  How does humility inspire you to create the biggest fan fair the political world has ever seen?

If you want to be arrogant, that's fine.  Just have the decency to admit that.

  5. HES JUST DOING HIS JOB JEZZE LEAVE HIM ALONE! =[ how rude!

WOW I WAS  KIDING! WHO WATCHES THOSE THINGS ANYWAY?

    WOW I WAS KIDING AGAIN!

  6. I cannot listen to the fluff that Obama tries to sell. Egad. OMG!

    McCain/Palin in 08!

  7. You say it's not an age thing. I say he's a senile old man... lol

  8. Somewhat annoying.

Not as bad as all of Obama's stammering when his handlers haven't prepped him on what to say, though.

  9. Someone should have yelled; "I'm not your friend, guy"

  10. it is from the senate.this is how they address members.

  11. It's no more annoying than Barack saying "my fellow Americans"

  12. "Hey, dudes!" That would be a new thing he could say. Or maybe, "Yiiiiiiiii, let's get it on!" Some exciting like Howard Dean, like some rock star front man shouting out stuff, or something.

I dunno. Most just used to say, "My fellow Americans... yadda yadda.
