  1. Surely if USA or white countries are not on top of the table, it wont be fair game, right..... 'Massive outcry'....how can all these  little chinese men won that many medals, they must have paid to have their favourites...yes, what  else you can think of, just add it there.

Welcome to the new world. Well before the game, a lot of people had already predicted it, not because of they paid for their favourites, but because according to the last few games, China is on the way up on the medal table, also they are the holding countries, they have more people onto their team, so as the chance to win more medals.

I guess you are the only one find it strange.

  2. nope, just you. What a waste of 5 points.

  3. For someone that has psychologist in their avatar name, your not the sharpest tool in the shed, are ya.

  4. If in 2012, let's say Britain were to top the tables, will the US whine and cry that British used babies in the olympics games?  Worse still, will the US complain that all the judges were being bought off, because of the strong British pounds?  Let's speculate!

This is the same situation in which the Americans are whining and crying about China.  They are sore and bitter, nothing more and nothing less.

  5. after the amount of medals given back by America because of drug cheats after the last few games (marion jones, mens relay team-Sydney...), maybe America is stuck playing on a level playing feild now.

  6. Only if you want to provide the link. Sensationalism and rumour of the above is only divisive and not in the "spirit" of the Games, all umpires have a duty of care to be fair. When you start to blame the ump and not player it may be a Freudian "bad sportsmanship",there is also this to consider ;In the states there seems  to be HUGE corporate injection of money to certain athletes and if they do not perform up to expectations...who pays then?  from Wiki

Anabolic Steroids ....."Dr. John Ziegler worked with synthetic chemists to develop an anabolic steroid for American weightlifters, resulting in the production of methandrostenolone (Dianabol).[13] Dianabol, developed by Ciba Pharmaceuticals, was approved for use in the U.S. by the Food and Drug Administration in 1958. Dianabol had the same strength building properties as testosterone, but with reduced side effects.[14]"

  7. No, there was also the 1936 Berlin games, I don't think the US was top on the gold medal table there. They might have been but I don't think so. It was Germany.

I don't think there is a link, it is simply explained, the Chinese hget to hoast the games and so they want to do everything in their power to win as many medals as possible to prove themselves to the world. and good luck to them, they deserve to have one olymppic games as top country.

The outcry of the judging was caused by stupid arrogant americans, (the same ones who think nobody landed on the moon) that cant face the facts that the Chinese are better in this particular games.

Lets wait for London and then we'll see.

  8. USA have not topped the Olympics in every games

  9. No, it is a matter of time for some other countries to take over.

But the whining part is related to the "sore loser syndrome"

  10. im sure they would still complain about the perceived unfairness even if they had lead in gold
