Everyday I hear this commercial on the radio (nyc's 92.3) about "internet speedway" Its so funny because they try and make it like its the real radio host giving you the information. You hear like russling papers and before he gives out the phone number he goes "Uhh" Like its suppose to be live. People are making "tens of thosands of dollars" for doing nothing is basically what this garbage commercial is all about.

Does this annoy the h**l out of anyone else? How gullable can somebody be to believe that nonsense.

Has anyone actually called the number and made "tens of thosands of dollars" or any money at all or is it a complete scam?

  1. As always, if it's too good to be true, it's not.

The people at 92.3 should be ashamed of themselves for carrying this sort of (what we call) PI advertising - that's "per inquiry." That means the station only gets paid based on how many suckers it brings in for the scammers, as they get paid $(blank) dolllars for every inquiry.

If it really bothers you, you have every right to report them to the FCC: http://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/ecfs/Upload/

  2. You already know it's a complete scam but the makers of this commercial are banking on the fact that many people don't.

Was it P.T. Barnham who said, "There's a sucker born every minute."  or something like that?  So, for every person who figures out a scam, there's a new one who hasn't figured it out yet.  These people are the target for the scammers.
