Anyone else freaked out about human bodies in a lake?

I just went on a house boating trip and was totally freaked out when I would think about the bodies that must be at the bottom....

Are there bodies in every lake?

I live in a town with reservoir and a 2 years ago some guy  drowend there his body did not float to the surface for week .

lol, NO ! There are not bodies in every lake.

Remember when John F. Kennedy Jr. flew his plane and those two chicks into the ocean?  They searched night and day until they pulled their hides out of the water. And the ocean is a heck of a lot more treacherous and uncooperative than a small lake is.

If no one got bodies out of the water, John F. Kennedy Jr. and his girlfriends would still be hotels for hermit crabs and lobsters in Cape Cod Bay.

Actually it's hard to keep a body down, bodies tend to bloat and float.  Even killers have a hard time keeping them down using weights and burlap bags because the bags will break apart sooner or later and the bodies will come to the surface in pieces, like a head here and a foot or a torso there until the whole thing comes to the surface.  So you really have nothing to worry about when you're out on the water.

also the mafia used to put a lot of bdies into the concrete of bridges and roads

Right now they are digging up our municipal buildings  grounds where i build a garden ,also looking for bodies of a past presidents reign of terror.

People are so nasty at times

There isn't bodies in every lake...but I would still be very careful. Go to the seaside if you want to be safe if it really does freak you out. I for one would be OK if I was 100% certain that there wasn't any people in the lake, but just thinking about what if's makes me scared....

Not at all. A lake is a pretty dumb place for a murderer to dump a body in anyway. The body tends to swell and float to the surface......and it is definitely not nice. Even those that just fall in tend to get noticed. (Fresh water, not sea water)

Those that go unnoticed (and you have to be dead yourself not to notice) simply sink back down.....with all the other gruesome stuff that one normally finds....you don't think the ducks get out of the water to use the bathroom do you? The fish cant get out to use the bathroom....Id stay in the boat if I were you.
