Question:

Anyone else frustrated with school?

I transfered to a university with my Associate's Degree.

I was all set to graduate this fall with my Bachelor's Degree. (I was so close to escaping!) Then, they sent me my graduation audit: I wasn't allowed to graduate.

Some of this was because of mistakes they had made in my graduation audit; some of this was because they hammered me with hidden rules. The kind of rules that are in fine print, not brought up by counselors, and used by the university to force students to take as many additional classes as possible: more tuition.

So, now, I've had to take two extra full semesters and will graduate at a much later time than I had first thought.

  1. this is why you schedule an appointment for a graduation audit long before you are scheduled to graduate.  Degree requrirments are clearly printed in your schools catalog.  Be sure you don't get some advisor or professor telling you to enroll in classes (usually becasue he teaches them and wants them to make) so you can be a well rounded person.  He's full of c**p.  ONLY take classes that will count towards graduation.  ALWAYS.
