Anyone else get all choked up during the final montage?

The one during the credits on NBC? I tivo'd it- and I always get teary when I watch it, I probably watched it about 10 times already. Can't wait for 2012!

I know!! I get really sad when I see that too :( I almost cried when I watched the Torino 2006 Winter Olympics credits and the Bejing one too. Seeing all the sad and happy moments with the music and all .... :) i'm sad that the olympics this year is over :(

Sweetie, your not the only one who's cried. I cried during the closin ceremony and the credits. I understand how you're feelin.. I'm feeling the same way. It's only after four years that we see such a sense of unity within the world. It's so beautiful. Yet so short lived. After the Olympics end, it seems like the world goes back to normal, and idk, it just seems weird. I cried alot, because I really didn't want everything to go back to normal, and I wanted this Unity to continue. I love all the athletes, (Michael Phelps is soooo hot) and I don't want em to go back into hiding. I recorded em too...! It's sad that they're gone... I know!

EDIT// Seeing all the inspirational commercials, and the moments of the games put to music, i get REALLY choked up.. I just dont want the Olympics to end! But I kinda want the athletes to return!

And you know whats even more sad..... Beijing was once in a lifetime. I doubt London will be as good, and after LOndon, Michael Phelps won't compete. So this was kinda itt! :(
