I agree with the first answer. People used to think it was due to pressure from the full bladder we get overnight, but that doesn't make sense since it doesn't happen during the day.

hah yes. it is just body your body making sure that everything is in good shape.

I sure do. I'm a med undergrad and Most healthy guys wake up in the morning with an erection. Guys have several erections a night as part of their sleep cycle. Many times they wake up and find they are still erect. This is normal and it's fairly common.

A guy's p***s becomes erect ("hardon") in response to sexual arousal, excitement, and deep relaxation, such as what's experienced in deep, dreaming sleep. An erection is caused by a rush of blood to the p***s. A guy's p***s can also become erect without any kind of arousing stimulation — this is called a "spontaneous erection.

I totally get them when I wake up too.
