Anyone else had a problem with airtime they have paid for when they bought a mobile from Carphone Warehouse?

I recently bought two mobile phones from Carphone Warehouse, each allegedly with £10 worth of airtime on them. After some time without the airtime appearing I phoned and was told that there was a procedure when credit failed to appear and that it would take another 10 days. After then, still no airtime. Does anyone know - is this a policy of Carphone Warehouse, to not put it on until the customer complains?

Mine said I would receive it on the 8th day, I didn't get it untill the 10th or 11th, after I had already put some credit on it myself. I didn't complain though so I reckon yours just hasn't gone through properly.

Carphone Warhouse are c**p i was on Vodafone with them. I was glad when Vodafone withdrew the franchise and i went with Vodafone no problems. Best thing i ever did was get away from Carphone Warhouse. I got a Nokia from Vodafone for my Grandaughter last week pay as you go and it was up and running in 5 Hours, with the credit on it.
