Anyone else hate EliteXc?

I honestly think Gary Shaw, president of EliteXC, is a joke. First of all he said Jeff Monson needs to get more wins in order to fight Kimbo. I mean seriously Monson has twice as many wins as James Thompson. EliteXC also makes Kimbo look like the greatest fighter on the face of the earth. The whole Brett Rogers calling out Kimbo thing looked completely set up. The Frank Shamrock/Cung Le thing looked staged also. EliteXC had the first ever primetime brodcast and made MMA look stupid.

I mean seriously, anyone else agree?

Elite XC is a joke just like kimbo slice and cbs.  I completely agree that the organization as a whole is worthless c**p but the shamrock/le fight was a h**l of a fight and both fighters deserve mad respect. also robbie lawler just needs to be in a different league and he could be a possible force in mma

I would think everyone that is a real fan of the sport.  F them.  I won't be watching anything they put on TV, thats for sure.

I was disappointed in the Frank Shamrock vs Renzo Gracie fight!  Ending the match because of "illegal" knees to the head while in the guard position was a cheap copout.  The ref should of taken one point away from Frank and let Renzo take the 5 minute rest period.  But no Renzo had to oversell the injury and act like his neck was broken.

Why does Mr. Shaw have to be in the cage to congradulate all the winners after every fight?  Who does he think he is!  At least wear a suit instead of that cheap polo shirt.....really at least look professional while being a camera w***e.

100% agree elitexc is setting the sport back 10 years. just wait it will be like the wwe. they already have the fixed fights.

I kinda liked kimbo in the beginning, but after thompson got screwed it just made me and im sure alot of people think gary shaw must have talked to that S****y ref. about makin sure kimbo wins. like brandon vera said, that ref sucks. there main guy is kimbo. he hasnt fought anyone good at all. I heard a rumor that they wanted ken shamrock and kimbo to go at it. pathetic! every fighter that wasn't good enough for ufc goes to elite xc. so you'll probably see tito there soon.

XC is a bad investment all they have is Kimbo and as soon as he gets hurt he is gone and so is XC. James Thompson almost ended it all but the paid off ref stopped the fight for no reason. kimbo will lose to one of these nobodies he is fighting and lose bad. like 30 seconds round 1 a no contest and after that who will watch XC?

yeah... they just don't have the nessacary talnt pool to compete, so they need the "storylines". The only reason they are  afloat is because of Kimbo. The casual fans are too ignorant to realize that Kimbo is one dementional. If he had started proffessonally five or six years ago, he would have been a force in the UFC. But now to be successful in the UFC you have to be well rounded and versed in every aspect of the sport. And I am by no means praising Kimbo.
