Anyone else have Virgin Mobile?

Question

First, I have the Flare. Is it just mine, or does the battery last about a day and a half before having to charge again?

Also, does anyone else have trouble downloading ringtones? I've gotten two out of the four I've purchased online from virginmobileusa.com, and of course my money was refunded from the other two, but I want the ringtones.

Does anyone have any advice about these two issues?

I have the Flare as well. As you stated, I have battery issues as well. Battery life on this phone is not great, I had to charge it a lot too. Its not the battery, its just the phone. I have contacted Virgin Mobile about this issue, and they just told me that I should purchase a replacement battery. Why??? Its the phone that uses the battery, the other thing is that you can get a new Flare for $30, the replacement battery cost $30 as well. I told them I might as well get a new Flare then, they were speechless. I was fed-up with this, so I went to purchase the Arc. The Arc battery life is great!! I still keep my Flare, I just can't stand the battery life!!

About the download issue. All my downloads were successful, however, games I downloaded froze often.

I had virgin mobile in all of middle school.

The reason was because my parents were willing to get me cell phones as long as they weren't locked into contracts. I went through about 4 phones, all of which were slow downloading(if they connected), I had to charge them from when I went to bed to right before I was off to school and there were so many dropped calls.

Whenever I completely was not able to get ringtones on my phone, worked for the first few yeah, I just went online and it was a lot easier. Whenever I had problems, I called them. They usually fixed them or sent the ringtones to my phone but with the problems I had, I didn't have a cell phone after 7th grade.

After that the entire fam. switched the plan phones, a lot easier and for some reason they work better with connection and everything than with prepaid phones.

I have the Cyclops, it lasts about three days when on the whole time. I've had no problem downloading ringtones.
