like, IF you have to throw away plastic bags, then tie a couple of knots in them so the wind doesn't get in them, blow around and suffocate wildlife ,& poisoning our sea-life.

  1. Municipalities should enforce recycling. Receptacles would be provided and it would simply require that people divide their litter into plastics, aluminum, yard waste and a separate container for all other materials. This has been in the planning stage for several years now, but our elected officials lack the backbone to impose it.

By the way, another wildlife snare is created by the fishing line that is cut loose or otherwise found near waterways. Birds often use this to build/reinforce their nests.

  2. I buy materail to make my own bags to take to the grocery store or anyplace I feel I need one.If you consider the cost of the fabric and use you will get out of making them, I feel it is money well spent and lowers the plastic bags that are thrown into the landfills. The company I voluteer for makes them. there are many ways to make a material bag.

  3. To limit pollution, buy a car that runs on natural gas (methane) instead of gasoline. It's WAY cleaner than gasoline, and cheaper, too. I can fill up in Utah for $10. Check out my source below and see if one of these cars would work for you. I sure love mine!
