My monthly cycle has not been normal since the birth of my daughter, she's seven months. I have bled for the last 12 weeks straight and the doc says i am estrogen deficient so want to put me on the pill, so i would have to ween Pippa to do this. He is trying one last measure before that. So i guess, has anyone else gone through something similar and is there light at the end of the tunnel? or should i put up with it till i am ready to ween Pip at 12 months?

  1. well i havent been to the docs yet but my little girl is 18weeks and ive been bleeding very lightly for the last five weeks,i just hope its normal,my girl is also breastfed. sorry i cant give you an answer. x

  2. You really need to ask yourself if you can deal with the bleeding or a few more months to give your baby the best start.  Me personally, I would wait it out.  Why deprive your baby of the best start for a minor inconvenience?  (I say this having bled for 4 straight months while in the Army, so I know how it is)

  3. I havn't seen mine since I had my baby.  It comes with breast feeding, your estrogen is on the fritz!  It wont be normal until a couple mths after you ween.  Don't worry about it, it's not really important, unless you are trying for a baby again.  If you sont want to have another right now, you can get birth control that is low on estrogen.  Dont ween your baby until you are ready too because you will regret it, unless you are having bad health problems
