Anyone else hope the price of gas goes up to $10?

I'm serious. I would gladly pay it in order to get teens and joy riders off the roads. I'm so tired of hearing people talk about the price of gas. The woman in front of me at the store was complaining about it to the clerk. At the same time she was lifting a $12 tub of ice cream onto the counter. My co-workers were complaining about it while ordering $12 glasses of wine at a restuarant last week. Give me a break.

Go get a Jeep, I've heard they have a $2.99 gas price guarantee, I'm sure they can make it $10 for ya.

are you crazy are something ? i don't think you know how the world turns !  you wont be saying that when you have to pay $8.00 for a roll of toilet paper too wipe your azz !!! how do you think sh*t gets to the stores ? trucks that use fuel ! fuel goes up and so does everything else. this country is so fu*ked up because of people like you !!!

I am with you... this is kind of horrible to admit, but I can go a 10-14 days on one tank.  And, I can afford gas, because I bust my tail working two jobs but do not have credit card debt, and live in a cheap apartment.

But, here is the sick thing.  Right now, this is like the perfect storm for me. I want to buy a house, not soon, but in the next 12-18 months.  So, right now lots of people are foreclosing. At the same time, lots of homeowners in middle and sort of high end areas are on the brink.

I have pretty much guaranteed job because of my seniority and union and the fact that my job is essential - 911 dispatch.

So gas prices being so high, surely will lead to more people walking away from their houses.  I mean they need to get to work right? So, they may just lose the house.  So if gas means more people cannot afford to stay in their houes, that is good for me. Because, home prices will keep falling while I am saving up for down payment.  And, more and more nice neighborhoods will start seeing the foreclosure bug...

Gas is already $  10.00 per gallon here in Sweden and it has

not got teens and joy rider off the road yet  !
