This is another of my biggest fears! A few months ago I saw a van (not minivan-- more like what a carpenter would drive) going 15 mph in front of me and swerving between lanes-- assuming the guy driving the van had hit the liquor store on the way home from work I took the first chance I could to pass him. Turns out the him was a her and a very old her at that! Scary! Since then I've seen an increasing number of elderly women driving vans (all minivans except for that first time) and it's starting to scare the c**p out of me! I'm starting to wonder if Buick and Cadillac are going out of business or maybe they are throwing the dead bodies of all that have been wounded by their strange driving patterns in the back.

  1. wtf...i think your very bored.

  2. I agree, I think we have a South Park situation here

  3. That's it...mystery solved. Now where did I put those Voyager keys?

  4. Hmm...maybe this is a regional thing. Because here, the old ladies still drive their 1950-60's Chevy or Ford pickups with either a load of firewood and a chainsaw or a dead deer/elk in the bed.

And yes, that is a scary sight  to behold. Here comes granny, going a whopping 40 mph down our main hwy, deer in tow, hunched over the wheel, holding on for dear life. It's the kind of thing nightmares are made of!

  5. Yeah I have notice. When you reach a certain age you just have to admit that you have to stop doing certain things like driving.

  6. It's easier for elderly woman to have seizures in a fullsize van.

Plus, when they croak, the undertaker can use it for a hearse.
