Haha well that applies to most sections!! I think its pathetic people give a thumbs down for what someone likes or thinks!! Surely if they answer the question well they should just leave it be!!!? Even if you don't agree with them! lol I only give thumbs down to time wasters.

All of Nadal's fans are idiotic morons with no character, respect or honor. I'm not trying to insult anyone, I'm just stating a fact of life. I have never seen a Nadal fan with a brain, character, or an interesting personality. The vocabulary of a Nadal fan consists of the words rafa, vamos, and a few other verbs and adjectives. They're a waste of space, the world would be better off if Nadal and his fans didn't exist. Not an insult, just a fact.

It's kind of a sad thing and I hope I don't get a thumbs down for answering this. People who do that are narrow minded. You're supposed to give a thumbs down for a bad or stupid answer, not one that you disagree with (especially if it's an opinion). I've loved Rafa since he was first started knocking off Federer at 17.

I'll admit it, I'm not a Federer fan, but I've never given anyone a thumbs down when they were saying good things about Federer. He had his time and it was a legendary run, but it's time for a new #1. In case you haven't noticed we saw Federer in every Grand Slam Final for the last three years (not including this year) and it's getting kinda old. We'd love to see new young players making the finals.

If I get a thumbs down then people are still not paying attention.

h**l yeah! Whenever you write anything pro-Rafa its just "No". Even if you actually compliment Federer or Djokovic in the answer you still get the down.

Yet write anything Pro Fed and its way up there.

a federer fan asked a question like this a few days ago saying that the exact oposite thinh was happening to him, all rafa fans were giving him thumbs down

I totally agree. It's crazy how many thumbs down I get. Rarely when I support Rafa will I get a thumbs up, unless it's from one of the people like you or "Adoro Rafa" or "tennisrox94" that supports me..... whatevs!

d**n, can't people just like both players? I like them both and sure, it's horrible that Roger will lose his #1 spot after having it for so long. He hasn't been doing well this year and sadly that has consequences. On the other hand, Rafa's been doing AMAZING and he's always done amazing anyway, so he deserves it!

Lots of haters on here....worse than the football section. They can thumbs down all they want, Rafa has the number 1 spot and he'll at least hold it for 2years if not more...Live with it people!
