  1. If you are convinced of that you should get a cat scan.  The PAC 10 has 5 BCS wins.  4 from USC.  That doesn't suggest depth in a conference.  The SEC is 11-3 in BCS bowls.

  2. First off ... Tennessee was not a TOP SEC team... they were middle of the road status just like UCLA...

So what if Tennessee sucks butt against California teams that doesnt make the Pac-10 and better because they beat Tennessee 2 years running...

what was the Pac-10s record for week one?  They were 7-3  and the SEC went 10-2 for Week 1 (not to shabby if you ask me)

There is no way that you can even start to say that the Pac-10 is the best conference out there...

The SEC is still the strongest Conference in College football but not by the longshot they have had the past few years... the Big12 is running a VERY close second for the strongest Conference title....

    *EDIT*

JBoaz:  Clemson is a second rate team? Ranked 9th? Bama Beat the c**p out of them... Louisville was beat by Kentucky and UL was favored by more than a touchdown? Now some of the other games were c**p i will give you that but hey EVEN VANDY WON!!!  I dont care who they play thats something to talk about haha...

Now I did not realize that two Pac-10 teams played each other... but hey everyone else played less than stellar teams... with the Exception of WSU playing OSU...

  3. no. The sec it 50 times the conference, as much as i hate them. outside of USC the Pac-10 rarely fields a good team. I know people love UCLA for last night, but c,mon, that was an upset. Calling UCLA the better team now is no different than called Stanford a better team than USC last year, and i know you cant say that. The Pac-10 wont have 2 teams in the top 20 at year's end, just like usual. They are like the Big 10 with OSU, one good team almost always.

I hate the SEC but, outside of USC, who in the PAC 10 gets within 2 TDs of Georgia, Florida, LSU? Tennessee is an okay team, but what have they showed you over the last 4 years to tell you they will compete for the SEC title?

yes USC beats Auburn and Arkansas, but they are USC. The Pac 10 didnt win thos games, USC did.

    1. SEC - better by a mile than the pac 10

    2. Big 12

    3. Big 10

    4. Pac 10

    5. Big East

    6 ACC

  4. Do you really think Stanford was better than USC last year. NO. Is Arkansas State better than Texas A&M. Probably not. Upsets happen all the time, and one happened last night. Besides, this Tennessee is not a top SEC team this year. One side can say, well this team beat that team, but the other side can come right back with another game. You can't go by a game here or a game there. You have to take the conference that consistently year after year is coming out on top. That conference is the SEC. Sure, their teams get beat sometimes, just like the other conferences, but week in and week out they are the conference that dominates overall.

  5. UT is projected to finish 6th or 7th in the SEC this season.  Not sure where you find that to be a "top" SEC team, but ok.  We'll use your backward logic.

  6. wow this is a horrible question. sec is the best conference in college football. YOU ARE WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG

  7. h**l no...are you crazy? UT is like the 7th best team in the SEC...they lost everyone last year...now everyone says pac-10 is the best....gimme a break....thats lame as h**l....tennessee is garbage and oooohh ucla beat em....you guys are retarded....SEChas what 5? or 6? teams ranked what does pac-10 have? 3? all you pac 10 fans are rejoicing after ucla beat a depleted, bottom of the barrel SEC team? thats the lamest argument ever...you guys are losers....garauntee that if USC played Florida or Georgia...they would get their a$$es handed to them no doubt.....ucla beat UT...wooooo...gimme a break......thats the only SEC team that a Pac 10 teram is gonna beat this year.....and the numbers speak for themslves SEC 10-2 in the first week and pac 10 is 7-3 for the first week....numbers dont lie.... as a matter of fact, like the guy above said, the pac 10 isnt even the 2nd strongest conference...the big 12 is....all im sayin is look at all of yall hatin on the SEC thats how we know we are the best...cuz everyone hates you when your on top!

  8. im convinced

  9. Simply complicated... Maybe the SEC had a better record this week because they played absolutely no one this week I don't get how that's an indicator of anything SEC teams played a bunch of 2nd rate teams of course their going to have more wins. And no of them played each other 2 Pac-10 teams went against each other one has to lose one has to win.

Now the SEC is most likely the best conference in CFB but back it up with actual evidence, not c**p.

  10. Maybe the 2nd best.

Look at the big 12....5 teams in the top 25

  11. get real SEC is way better than the Pac 10 yeah USC is good but after that big drop off

  12. No, Mountain West is the best conference because Utah beat Michigan.

You logic is horrible.  Anyone who bases an entire season off of 1 game is stupid.  UT is not 1 "top SEC team" this year.

  13. simply complicated's arguments have so many one sided holes it's difficult not to laugh.

    1. Tennessee is ALWAYS a top tier SEC school. This year is no different.

    2. Records for PAC-10 and SEC are not comparable unless the opponents are comparable.

    SEC opponents:

    BCS Teams

    UCLA, NC State, Louisville

    Middle tier teams

    Memphis, Hawaii

    Jokes

Appalachian St, Louisiana-Monroe, Miami OH, Louisiana Tech, and Georgia Southern

    PAC 10 opponents:

    BCS Teams

Virginia, Tennessee, Oklahoma St, and Michigan St

    Jokes

    Northern Arizona

All other games were within their own conferences. So as you can see the SEC has a joke of a schedule outside the league.

    3. The SEC has long been over-rated. What the SEC is best in is its fan base. They are very passionate and vocal.

    4. The Big 12 has been and still is very top heavy. I'd say they were second strongest conference to the Pac-10 last year. This year is too early.

Top 10 teams should not be playing the Georgia Southerns and Appalachian Sts of the world but rather the Virginia's and Tennessee's in their out of conference schedule.

Once the SEC starts doing that come back to me with these arguments.

    Hope this answers your question.

    Enjoy!
