I just bought one today and I wasn't even in the market for a synthetic, actually I kinda used to snub them (I embarassingly admit) but I could not find the correct size for my TB with high withers and me about a 16" seat but ended up with a 17" anyway (better bigger seat than smaller) I took it home and it FIT my HORSE! I've tried every saddle we had at our barn and my friend brought one that she thought would fit no luck, but with a reinsman built up pad and this saddle with semi QH bars it cleared his withers! Just wondering what other pple thought of this saddle. I found it very comfy! It is a carmel all rounder, you can't get carmel in full QH bars though. It's perfect for what I'll use it for barrel racing trail riding, as far as competing for form and manners, I prefer English cause my horse would make us look like idiots in western pleasure he's too fast!. LOL ex racehorses for ya!! He'd do great in English! I may even consider a Wintec for that too!

  1. I have a english wintec and a wester wintec. They are great every day saddles because you can clean them with a wet towel. They hold up really nice and this is big for me because I am very hard on saddles. I love my wintecs more than my leather show saddles which were $1500 each. You can't beat the price and comfort of a wintec!
