Anyone else realise that we are still coming out of the last Ice Age?

Sea levels are expected to rise the same in the coming century as the last.

Currently the mean (yes, that means average) sea level in some harbours is rising, in some is dropping and in many is largely remaining static. Sounds like tectonic plate movement to me.

I agree that climate change is at least partly if not wholly from natural causes, but I can't get past the pollution factor. Carbon trading is definitely rubbish. Just another way of moving around money and covering corporate asses, not a legit solution. But whether or not CO2 emissions are causing a greenhouse affect, the sulfur dioxides, nitrogen oxides, ozone, and hydrocarbons are still killing stuff along with countless other chemicals and byproducts. Plus with deforestation, wetland destruction, mining, drilling, and urban sprawl, we've been eliminating the natural resources that can filter this c**p. Global warming hype may be doing more harm than good by creating this sort of knee-jerk reaction and losing focus on the proven environmental problems. We definitely need to look at the biggest possible picture here and continue to make real effective, efficient, progressive solutions.

Shhhhhh the AGW theorists haven't figured out that some of the earths weather cycles last tens of thousands of years.

The earth is 4.5 Billion years old and has gone thru far worse than this current situation.  How conceited are those that believe we have somehow caused the destruction of earth in less that 200 years of industrialization.

And don't forget the sun in its hot flashes it has also

There is no thermostat in the sun that keeps it at a constant temperature

And to finish it off the earths orbit is not always circular it also goes into the elliptical state of position and that is when the big chill happens

What will the Global Warming warnings say when the earth is in the egg shape orbit uhh I wonder

Yes, we are!

Talk of receding glaciers and melting ice caps. Worldwide, glaciers have been receding since our recorded time began and before.

How many fjords in this world of ours? Dozens? Hundreds? Thousands? I don't know. But they were formed by glaciers. So where are the glaciers, I wonder?

We are coming out of an ice age, the world is warming. Sea levels are rising, climatic conditions are changing.

Plant trees. They will absorb the excess CO2. Huh? The oceans do a better job.. if anything is in danger from human activities, they are.

When those trees grow and then die, what gases are then given out?

I haven't yet seen any figures to say the CO2 content of the air we have, has risen in percentages since first measured by mankind.

Leave it to mankind, he will ruin the world, but I seriously doubt he is contributing much to global warming. He will ruin it by pollution of the oceans. Save the world, remove mankind!

just don't only comment here and making suggestion, what we could do here is take an action. me i'm saving my electricity use so the carbon dioxide consumption will decrease i hope you guys can do a better job too to lessen our global warming. to all out there who read my announcement please listen this is for our next generation save the earth...........
