Watch the situation around Iran. If anything, this is the only situation capable of splitting the world (and probably even the NATO).

no.  it's been, what, 8 years since we "tested" our latest weaponry?

imagine the advances we've made in that time.  the best thing that could happen now is for iran to launch a missile toward isreal, the u.s. navy shoots it down with a missile launched from a navy frigate in the med.

then the "frightened" of the world would be at our disposal.  then it's on to "shock and awe" just about anywhere in the world we wish is to be.

maybe start with iran, move on to moscow.  sweep up with n.korea and syria.  the isrealis could clean up the palastenian  problem as well as alq.  maybe even those white supremist skinheads in montana too.

Not really, however, I do believe that World War III will be over natural resources such as: oil, water and or food.
