Anyone else see the ladder in the middle of the M1 northbond this evening nr sheffield??

as i was driving back from sheffield i was in the middle lane and there was traffic to each side of me.. all of a sudden i noticed this big laddder layed in the middle of the road. i tried to swirve as much as i could to avoid going under the lorry tyo the left of mebut i still hit. my car is a mess at the front from. Just wondered if any one else saw it??? it was between J35 and J37 of the M1 northbound.
