  3. this guy is....and my final straw was this week when the rev al made a racist remark about my greek heritage in my opinion he is an ***,,,a racist *** who doesnt deserve the air he breaths

The word lynch means (hung by a mob) according to websters.The dictionary does not say hanging a black man.All Sharpton is the racist if he can read anymore into this.People like All have a double standard.Just listen to some rap songs.He is a man who likes to be in the news and will use anything to be in the news.

    What Sharpton does with this, is to ruin any chance that  any black people may have of really getting  justice when something really racist does happen.. but he muddies the waters by  yelling about everything, even this silly incident.. This woman did not mean anything racist.. it was just words.. Good Grief.

  7. al sharpon is a political, civil, and social activist. he was definitely going to say something about an individual saying a racially context word. if it wasnt for him and other activists, people would be able to say whatever they felt whether it be racist, sexist or homophobic and not meet the consequences.

    people would like to say whatever they want and not get in trouble or have people meddle in it, which is why you are asking this question. but even if al sharpton didnt get involved, im sure the viewers would have written their thoughts to the golf channel.

    He is a racist, and loves drawing attention to himself.

    He is not pro-civil rights.  He is anti-white.

    If he is so concerned about the plight of African Americans,  he should spend more time asking them to stop black on black crime, and less time crusading against caucasians.

Al Sharpton keeps sticking his nose where it doesn't belong.  If blacks think that Al speaks for all blacks then they're in big trouble.  He is and always has been for Al and without apologizing for such BS as the Tawana Brawley incident, and the Duke Univ. fiasco he has been allowed to stand on the National stage instead of having his feet put in the fire.  Now he's calling for the firing of the young lady that used some insignificant phrase during a golf tournament.  Even Tiger Woods said that he wasn't offended by his friends words yet Sharpton keeps shooting his mouth off.

    It's about time that the media force Sharpton to defend HIS stances on things instead of giving him a free ride.

  10. Yes! That is the Reverend Al. That Tiwana Brawley incident which he professed happened but never did caused a lot of distrust but the Reverend never apologized. The Reverend  Jesse has a kid out of wedlock, but not a word from the Reverend Al. He held Citi-Bank by the throat and threatened boycott if they didn't increase the number of black personnel.So any white boy or girl who does wrong is fair game.Yet New Haven CT's black district is a shooting gallery as are other ghettos. You don't see the Reverend on the firing line or speaking out against those acts. So who is the bigot? The man of the cloth is!!

  11. i did not know that sharpton watched the golf channel. the truth is he was not watching it, he probably got a call from some AACP person requesting he do something about it. Kelly Tilghman did not even say anything bad. this country is losing its sense of humor by the second. if anything she was praising tiger not offending him. it was'nt even a racist comment. if the same comment was said about tom brady or some other white athlete i would not be writing this.
