Anyone else taking a gap year?

I went to Australia 4 months ago and came back a month ago , i intended to go for a year. Just a word of warning...."travelling" isn't all its cracked up to be, the loneliness is so hard to get through. And if you are going to backpacker it I would say don't uinless you really want to get pissed everynight on cheap booze and get hit on everynight, and probably end up going home with a few more things, not just memories.

I had the best time out there when my boyfriend came over, it was 3 weeks of pure holiday....you want to see another country do it in short bursts. OH and don't go to HongKong for 4 days on your own....not a good idea!

Word of warning: Think before you travel!!
