Anyone else tempted to take a test? i'm in two minds here

Question

I am 10 days late, sounds a lot and your probably wondering why i havent tested and how ive managed to wait but here goes:

Last month i was extatic when i finally got a positive test, i had been testing every few days and was 19 days late, i couldn't believe it when it finally turned positive. I was so excited and booked a doctor's appointment. the next day i woke to find myself litrally covered in blood (sorry tmi) i cried constantly the doctor finally took a blood test a week later (she sed there was no rush) and it came back negative. i fell to pieces but she said i wasn't pregnant ant the positive i had got before must have been read wrong. ( not a chance, im an expert now lol) i was crushed.

this month we decided to relax into it, and when my period didnt come i didnt want to get excited as i was worried about being hurt again. now i am 10 days late, i have bought 2 clearblue tests and want to take one now, i dont know what to do, im so worried that it'll come out negative or that it will come out positive and the same thing will happen again.

Your chances are very rare...maybe u should wait a for more days to retest or go to your physician, asap to have a physical done.

Same thing happened to me. I did the test early again the next time after my MC, I was lucky it was positive. I didnt stop me worrying every single day during my pregnancy though (got little Sam now 8 months). Best of luck.

firstly sorry for your loss, i have had some early miscarriages and they are truky downeheartening.

However go on and test!!!!

the likelihodd is if you re pregnant everything will be fine

bet you've aready tested lol!!

I spent a small fortune on tests myself so know hwat it's like!

All i've got to say is that when the time is right all will fall in to place. Don't put too much pressure on yourself. Just do the test and see the results. If its positive then ya hay. But if not, it doesn't matter. you can always try again. All is in the hands of God. Be patient and all will turn out well ;-)

remember that 1 in 4 pregnancy results in miscariage and most of these happen before a women even realises shes pregant.

miscarriage is rarely the women's fault either, more than often its abnormality in your partners sperm that results in chromosonal defects and non-viable pregnancy ending in miscariage thats why its important for both male and female to work on their health before ttc. sperm is mature within 3 months so 3 months before you ttc thats when you should both quit smoking,drinking ect.

your 10 days late thats a brilliant sign, i would suggest you go to your doctor for a blood test that way they can give you the results and possibly tell you the level of hormone hcg which if low can be a sign of impending miscarriage.

im sure that if you are pregnant that this time round everything will fine, i have a lot of friends who have had miscarriages and they now all have healthy children.

Just take the test,it could be you had a chemical pregnancy last month,where you get a positive then a negative and start bleeding .

I had a positive on june the 4th started bleeding and am now pregnant again with a positive test,go on hun do it and post the results

look at it this way: if you're pregnant, the test won't change that (fingers crossed); if you're not pregnant, the test won't change that either...so testing will only help you a bit more to understand what's taking place, and then you have to accept whatever comes your way...after all, this is what life is all about.  i really hope you do get to see the double pink lines...good luck

i say go for it and test and if its positive then make a doctors appointment for confirmation. i know how hard it is to play the waiting game and i'm really sorry about what you went through last month. just try not to stress out about it and i hope you get the positive result you want! So sorry 4 wots happened 2 u, but i wud test as it wud def say if u were pregnant or not I understand ur nervous but there is only 1 way 2 no.
